The Review Group Birthday Bash

The Review Group is 1 year old. (I think I’m only about 6 months, but hey…)

To celebrate there are a week of events / great giveaways and fun questions.

I’m giving away a PB copy of Turn of the Tide to one lucky winner. To be in with a shout just follow this blog and leave a comment with your contact details so that I can get in in touch if you strike gold here. The giveaway will end when the dust has settled at the end of the bash.

To whet your appetite here’s a link to just one of the many lovely reviews from The History Lady.
And the fun question? Who rode from London to Edinburgh to inform James VI that he was now James I and how was the messenger informed of Elizabeth I’s death. (So the story goes!)

  1. Harry Carey, the Lord Chamberland , gave his brother Sir Robert Carey the message to deliver to James VI. Sir Robert rode by horseback to deliver the news and was to present a blue ring, that belonged to James, in order to confirm the truth of his message.
    Thank you for the giveaway.
