I have the feeling that it may be a little ‘sad’ to find this article in the Guardian interesting – but it is about words – and in particular how we pronounce them. And as someone who is often ridiculed by my family for the way I pronounce particular words I will defend my accent to the death. – Accents are NOT wrong – just different.
